In 2022 we want to improve communication with CEWIL Atlantic members. To do this, we will be sending out newsletters to update members on what the executive team has been working on, showcasing stories from students, educators and administrators in the field, highlighting upcoming events, and more. We will also be hosting more events such as Town Halls to hear directly from our members.
Despite the turmoil and uncertainty, co-operative education and work-integrated learning in our region has continued to provide meaningful and valuable opportunities for students. We have built and expanded partnerships, we have supported our communities and industries through COVID-19, and we have come together to support each other. I have heard so many stories of collaboration across units, institutions, and communities and it makes me prouder than ever to be Atlantic Canadian.
Your CEWIL Atlantic Executive has also been hard at work, continuing to support our members and set the course for the next phases in our organization’s journey. We welcomed new members to our Executive, including our Community Representative – Tim Perron from ICTC, and our Government Representative – Rick Alexander from the Government of Nova Scotia, who have helped us to think about how important our relationships are for building WIL in our region.
We hope that 2022-23 will be a spring renewal for all of us. Please let us know how CEWIL Atlantic can continue to support you, your students, and your partners in creating an ecosystem of WIL in the region that showcases the unique and exceptional work happening in Atlantic Canada.
Visit the CEWIL Atlantic website for more information on how to renew your membership. Current members will receive an invoice for their renewal payment shortly; watch your inboxes!
